Several U.S. MacRumors readers have reported that Apple has begun shipping the TomTom iPhone car kit, which finally appeared (http://www.macrumors.com/iphone/2009/10/23/tomtom-car-kit-appears-in-apples-u-s-online-store-ships-in-2-3-weeks/) in the company's U.S. online store several weeks ago. The kit, which is priced at $119.95 and does not include the navigation application, offers an iPhone mount with integrated GPS receiver for improved performance, hands-free calling, and a built-in speaker for clearer spoken directions.
A few European customers (http://www.macrumors.com/iphone/2009/10/13/tomtom-gps-car-kit-for-iphone-unboxing/) had been able to get their hands on the kit at Apple's brick-and-mortar stores, although supplies there now appear to be tight with shipping windows currently set at 4-6 weeks compared to the 2-3 week window in the U.S. for new orders.

Have you looked at the TouchWiz UI? It's almost identical to iOS - dock at the bottom, pages of icons in a grid and you even remove applications in the same way as you do on the iPhone. I've nothing at all against competition for iOS, but they shouldn't just rip the design off

I'm not for this, but samsung really should go out on a limb and develop their own "style" of os for their little phones, or just use android default or wp7. I remember using a galaxy and thinking, "wtf mate?".

Hilarious that the email sender said a DROID won't track him...hahahah so funny... as if a "GOOGLE" phone doesn't track their Android user's every move... This isn't really a iPhone matter, its a matter of all smartphones, with maybe a little exception for blackberry's. It's really nothing new... Google even has a stored database for random screen-caps it takes on all its Android users at any time.
Android, WinMo, Symbian, WebOS, etc. openness makes them the most vulnerable, easiest targets of all.
The iPhone is more secure in this sense, as it's locked. Not impossible to break, but at least difficult.
We would need to go back to the days of the old flip-phone with no application capabilities: no symbian, no java, nothing!

By now you should know that Apple is a greedy company, just wanting to hurt others and bankrupt several in the process.. its corporate america at its best.. hopefully NOT FOR TOO LONG.
Apple makes products that people want. RIM makes products that cause people to point and laugh. Google makes products that they can only sell two for one or give away for free. Microsoft makes products that sit on the shelves until they are sent of to be recycled.
Don't get me wrong, I like Google. Gmail is great and Google is the only search I use. Unfortunately, they don't know how to make mobile devices.

Call me crazy, but I think this might lend creedence to the thought that iPhone 5 will come out this summer...

Well I've been thinking that Apple really wants to show the world, investors, etc, that it can still keep secrets after the i4 debacle last year. I think its possible they have changed suppliers in an atempt to stop the leaks. They might also be fueling the disinformation campaign that puts the 5 in October.
The fact that they are now suing Samsung, and waited this long, might give validity to this theory, as they did not want to sue them while Sammy was still a key supplier for them.
Something to think about.

Apple's marketing strategy has always been that the PowerBooks (MacBook Pro) have faster processers then any of the iMac offerings. The Conroe and Allendale (Desktop) chips run faster then the Merom (Mobile) chips.
I'm not sure that's true. They had the G5 in the iMac and it was never in the Powerbook. When the Intel iMac was released it was running the same CPUs as the 15" MacBook Pro that was released at the same time. They are very different products so the differentiation is built in.

That's the graphic core onboard the Core i7 die. It doesn't change to ATi graphics when you use something graphically intensive?

The size of screen is irrelevant. It's resolution that matters here.

So, I'm confused from reading the rules. You stated the villain wins once everyone is dead. How does a hero die? That's not clear to me in the rules.

That should've be more clear. Basically I'm just stating *why* the villain is at level 16. It's not an arbitrary number - it's the number of players multiplied by two. # of players (8) multiplied by 2 = villain's level (16). That's all.
