Bipasha Basu proudly says, I'm proud of myself
'I just realised my journey has been quiet a long one, from 1996 to 2011. It's only me who knows how much hard work and dedication has gone behind everything. I have been honest with my profession and brought the best of me on the screen,' said Bipasha.
Dressed in a formal white outfit with black beads and sequin work on it, she came for the the launch of Versace collection of watches in collaboration with Timex Group.
'I feel extremely lucky when I look behind in my life. I am proud of myself and also proud of what I am today. I used to dream of having such luxury brands and now I effortlessly own so many of them,' said the 32-year-old, who has a fetish for watches.
'The one object that I love the most is the watch. It is a must have possession for everybody. It is also my favourite gifting option.
'All the watches that (actor) John (Abraham) owns are gifted by me. Now I think his collection is set to have a Versace watch,' she said.

Bipasha Basu: There's no crises in her life!

But how true the reports of the split are remains to be seen as there has been no response from John yet. Bipasha, on the other hand, has used her Twitter page to clarify that there’s no crisis in her life as the media reports make out to be.
“We are just stories till we are famous, that's it. It’s Harsh reality but true. All is well in my life. Thank you all for being concerned,” Bipasha wrote on her page.
Before that she tweeted: “I can’t be answerable to media anymore about my personal life becoz no matter how open you are ,there is no respect ever..”
To be noted is the fact that Bipasha has not made it clear that she and John are still together. She’s just stated that all is well in her life, which could mean two things: first, she’s still with John; second, if she’s broken up, she’s moved on.

Bipasha Basu launches Bengali entertainment channel
Kolkata, July 19 (IANS) Bollywood actress Bipasha Basu launched Bengali general entertainment channel Mahuaa Bangla here Monday evening.An initiative of Mahuaa Media Pvt Ltd, the channel was co-launched by P.K. Tewari, chairman and managing director of the Mahua group, and Brazilian football legends Romario and Branco at the ITC Sonar.
'Mahuaa Bangla will just not cater to entertainment but will strive to revive the heritage and value and at the same time bring newer thoughts and ideas to its viewers,' said Tewari.
The event unfolded with a traditional Durga Vandhana by Tanushree Shankar and her dance troupe, which was followed by a laser show. The dusky actress - wearing a red-bordered white embroidered sari and red bangles - arrived in a palanquin amidst Shankar's second dance recital depicting Bengali culture and tradition.
Hosting the programme were Bollywood actress Konkana Sen Sharma and Tollywood superstar Jishu Sengupta.
Music composer Bappi Lahiri and singers Alka Yagnik and Debojit Saha made the audience swing to their tunes.
