Charice To Collaborate With Sarah; Gets An A+ Score From Glee Performance

Manila, Philippines.
International singing sensation Charice is set to do a single with the Popstar, Sarah Geronimo.
Sarah told ABS-CBN News that the joint endeavor is now in the "planning stage" and that she's hoping the project will pursue.

"It would be an honor to do a collaboration with her. Parang single yung gagawin, dito gagawin sa Pilipinas pero kung saan ire-release yan po ang inaayos. Depende sa both side kung saan mag-agree," Geronimo said.

Meanwhile, Charice has again captured the world's attention with her powerful rendition of “As Long as You’re There” on Glee’s season 2 finale. Entertainment Weekly (EW) gave an A+ score to Sunshine Corazon's performance, Charice's character in Glee.
Here's what EW has to say about the Filipina pride's singing prowess,“Sunshine Corazon was brighter than her sparkly microphone on this power ballad. The character might be a snore, but there’s nothing snoozy about this girl’s voice. A+”

Watch her goose-bumps-generating-singing on stage below.

Charice and Salma Hayek's Bonding Moments On Set - Photo

Charice leaves no tooth unseen with her big smile as she strolls outside Faneuil Hall in downtown Boston with no less than Hollywood actress, Salma Hayek.
The two girls, along with Kevin James, are on the set of their new movie, Here Comes The Boom.
The 'pint-sized' Pinay pride will play a Filipino character named Maria who will, again, be required to sing in the movie. (that's just my guess)

Charice has just celebrated her birthday and greetings have poured in from her celebrity friends through the Internet.
No surprise, Paris Hilton, a certified Twitter addict, sent her birthday wish to the 19-year old singing sensation via the micro-blogging site.

Paris said that meeting Charice during the Pacman-Mosely bout last Saturday [Sunday in The Philippines] in Las Vegas was so nice and the small-but-terrible Pinay has a beautiful voice.
She even tweeted a photo of them two with Michael Buble saying, "Love Always, Paris"

The always grateful Charice thanked Paris Hilton for her greetings.

Charice's Nick Jonas-Produced Track, "One Day"

Charice knows how to make the right friends and connections - turn out, things are going  well for the breakthrough international artist.

Like now, she utilizes her youthfulness by  collaborating with guess who.. Nick Jonas.
The Nick-produced and penned track, "One Day" is buttered with beat-infused pop-you-won't-hate-sound that will surely triple the fanaticism out of Charice's fans.
Listening critically, I noticed Charice sounded  like "Jojo" -but even better! Is she heading towards that direction? (Jump to 1:20 and hear her hit the high notes - ala Jojo's "Too Little, Too Late")
Nick Jonas has promoted this track on his Twitter page, he said, "Check out the song I wrote and produced for @OfficialCharice from Glee available on iTunes"

As of this writing, Charice has released 4 new digital songs - all available on i-Tunes.

Charice Shines In Her 'All By Myself' Glee Performance

Sunshine Corazon returned to Glee yesterday. In an episode aptly titled, "A Night Of Neglect," the international sensation appeared again after her talked-about stint in the show's 2nd season, pilot episode.

How did she fare out? The reviews are in...
Katie Morgan and Jillian Mapes of Billboard.com have wondered why Charice has disappeared from the series for so long. They praised the "Pyramid" singer's glory note, even prompted their readers to check her "All By Myself" Glee performance. (Watch below)

Charice's Bruno Mars-produced Single, "Before It Explodes"

Aly Semigran of MTV.com pointed out the strangeness/inappropriateness of Charice singing the lines, "When I was young/ I never needed anyone / And making love was just for fun / Those days are gone,"
I assume she never experienced such a thing, did she?
Semigran said the song's strength matched Charice's singing voice, a performance to be remembered during A "Night of Neglect."

Charice's Bruno Mars-produced single, "Before It Explodes"

Curious. I was inside the Jeepney (means of public transport in the Philippines), on my way home. I heard this one from the vehicle's uber-loud stereo, and then i asked myself, "Who are in this track?"
So i googled it, and presto! I found the answer.
Yeah, I was living under a rock, this is Charice's duet with Bruno Mars,  Before It Explodes.
Set to be released today in the U.S.(April 19), but has been leaked, on purpose, in the Philippines since April 12.

I told myself, this song sounds familiar! So I googled again.
Before It Explodes was written and produced by Filipino-top-caliber-artist, Bruno Mars.
It was first recorded last year by Britain's 2008 X-Factor winner, Alexandra Burke.
Okay, there you go.

Charice will be singing All By Myself, definitely the episode you will not dare neglect.
The Filipina International star says, "I'm gonna be singing All By Myself by the legendary Celine Dion. When I found out about the song, I freaked out."
The Pyramid singer's comeback episode in Glee titled “A Night of Neglect” will be aired on April 19.
